FIF has scheduled a call for the CAT Transaction Reporting Working Group for Wednesday July 30 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of potential amendments to SEC Rule 613 and the CAT NMS Plan to reduce CAT costs. The Working Group will also discuss the recent court decision relating to CAT funding.

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the Rule 605 and Rule 606 Working Groups for Thursday July 31 at 2 pm ET. The Working Groups will discuss draft diagrams for a Rule 605 Fact Sheet prepared by two FIF members. The Working Groups will also discuss other issues raised by FIF members relating to Rule 605 and Rule 606 reporting.

On July 14, FIF submitted a comment letter to the SEC in response to the amended rule filing by CAT LLC to remove PII from CAIS. The FIF comment letter includes a discussion of the need to retire and replace EBS. FIF would like to thank the members of the CAT CAIS, CAT Transaction Reporting and EBS Working Groups for their contributions in the drafting of this comment letter.
